Got the stuff to make peanuts crib bedding...wish me luck

The dots (both black materials in the big picture above are for the crib skirt and the bumper pads) The yellow and white stripes is a really soft flannel cotton for the crib sheets. I'm also buying some minky dot material to blend in on the bumper pad and will also use that for the quilt along with the same material I'm using for the skirt and bumper pad. Why someone that has never sewn before (okay...well maybe a little) decides to make their own crib bedding is unbeknownst to me...but hey..what the hell...I can't find what I want anywhere else, and I'll be damned if I pay someone 400 bucks to make something this kid is going to puke and poop all over. Thank god my 8 year old is a whiz with the sewing machine!

  2. mcmillan...get a life! I wouldn't pay 600 bucks for a crib set....it's a wonderful blog...obviously if you had taken the time to read it you would know that I think the cost of custom crib bedding is a travesty!
