HI! My name is....

Hubby and I have been tossing around baby names pretty much since we found out we were pregnant. Actually I kinda had the list well before I even got pregnant of the names I liked, and the winner was on that list. We have chosen (drum roll, please)

Hayden Mack

Hayden, because it's the name of the football coach that ruled the world for the University of Iowa, for forever...did you know the tv show "Coach" was actually based on him? Anyway, my husband isn't really a pro football person, he's more a college football person...don't know why...but anyway...he's a hardcore Iowa fan. So it was inevitable that our child would bear the name of something Iowa related....I actually liked Hayden from the beginning anyway, so yay me also. I like those boy/girl names. A. You can't tell just looking at a resume if this person is male or female...so if this was a girl baby...she would never suffer at first glance for being a girl. (Really, I don't have any hang ups at all about this, so I don't know why I would think about it that way, but I always have. B. Easier for me...choose one name that goes either way no matter what the sex of the child. That's how Evyn became Evyn...rather than Evan. Honestly I don't know how we came to the middle name. We wanted something unique, beyond the typical John and Joseph, and all of those "usuals". Adam said "Mc" or "Mick"...I said no "too crocodile dundee", but I really liked Mack. Adam thought that sounded pretty good. Lord thank god we have named this child!
