I've discovered I am averted to meat. It started a few weeks ago when Adam ordered some hot wings when we had delivery pizza for dinner. I couldn't even be near him without gagging. The smell! Ugh! Evyn made some pizza rolls the other day...same thing. The sight of thawing chicken breast in the refrigerator...yup you guessed it...dry heaves. I even tried to eat some chicken last night and that didn't go over so well. I ate about half of it, and then got a mouth full of fat or something...I don't know what it was, because I've never known chicken to taste like that in my life....but that was enough to turn me off of any kind of meat for I don't know how long.
Potatoes for some reason have been what sounds good lately. Mashed, hash browns, baked...whatever. It doesn't matter. If it's a potato....I'm good with it. Adam even commented last night "what is it with you and potatoes?" I don't throw them up...that's what it is. Geesh. Men.
I've been craving oranges as well. By the dozens. No really. Breakfast consists of three or four of them. Throughout the day I've yearned for them. In fact...I'm out. Must go to store today...to get more oranges.
The one thing I read about that seems to help with the nauseated feelings was Sour Patch Kids. Okay, sounds reasonable enough. I'm craving the tartiness of oranges so why not. HOLY HELL IT WORKED!
So I guess Oranges, Potatoes, and Sour Patch Kids it is until this feeling of hurling at any given moment passes.
I was ALL about 'cry babies' those super sour gum ball things. Loved them.
