Just finished cutting out the crib sheets

I told Evyn last night "maybe we would work on the baby's bedding tomorrow". Luckily she played outside in the pool most of the day, which enabled the hubby and I to get some much needed yard work done in our backyard.
He worked on trimming up our palms....which looked like sad rag dolls because they hadn't been trimmed up in so long. Palm trees get really hideous when they aren't trimmed up....and ours were beyond at this point. They're really tall also, so it's not a real simple task. Poor hubby. He was so tired after he was done that he came inside and crashed out on the couch.
In the mean time I cleaned the house, washed all the windows outside in the back, and cleaned up the patio. I had planned on jumping in the pool with the kids at some point, but they had the boys down the street in with them, and I didn't feel like dealing with the splashing. I was already accused of being moody pregnant mom today when I got on Nolan's case for talking back....so I just said forget it and came in to take a nap with Adam. I think we slept for two or three hours? Not really sure since I don't keep track of time on weekends (this is on purpose).
Sometime after we ate dinner, Ev reminded me that we were going to work on the baby's bedding, and I noticed she had already gotten out her sewing machine and moved all the material into the living room. O, I so wanted to just lay down and take a nap. I was a trooper though, and started cutting out the patterns. I started to think to myself "what the hell did I get myself into?" about half way through cutting them out. I'm still wondering that after I've already cut out the crib sheets. I think I get it...but we'll see...I found a back up plan just in case, but we'll get to that later. I'm determined to do this and show my husband, who doubts me that I can sew :)
